Driving Roadeo
This year's event was held on Saturday, April 26 in Williamsburg with Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) hosting! The event was sponsored by CTAV and DRPT. Drivers from across Virginia came to together to have a great time participating in a driving obstacle course, wheelchair handling assessment and a short written test. EXPO & Training Conference
The 2008 Vehicle and Equipment EXPO and Training Conference will be August 12 through the 14th at the Roanoke Plaza Hotel (540-563-9300 or roanokesmgr@sbcos.com) and the EXPO will be at the Roanoke Civic Center Convention Hall on the 13th! For further details look below. PLEASE NOTE - The hotel is currently being remodeled and the name is changing from Wyndham Roanoke. Please call the number listed above for reservations.
You can look forward to great training sessions, lots of equipment to view and plenty of fun activities including going to a baseball game, reception, Transportation Museum, etc...don't miss this once a year opportunity to network with all your peers, learn new ideas reinforce existing ones and have fun at the same time.

- 2008 Vendor Roundtable: Given the great success of the 2007 Vendor Roundtable we will be holding one in 2008! This open discussion is meant to bring questions about equipment you have directly to the vendors, and they can let us know of any upcoming changes or new products.
Questions should be sent in advance so they can research the correct answer though you can ask them at the session too.

Scholarship Fund
CTAV selects one child or grandchild of a CTAV member Transportation employee that will be attending college and provides a scholarship to help them get started. For more details or to give CLICK HERE
Board Meetings
CTAV's volunteer Board members meet across the Commonwealth regularly 3rd Thursday of each month @ 10 am with Committee meetings at 9 am, to discuss the activities of the organization and plan for upcoming events - You are invited! We want as many people as possible to attend to learn more about the organization and find peers across the state to network with. A lot of work is done for the organization behind the scenes! Committees
CTAV has several committees (EXPO, Membership, Education & Legislation, Training, Vendors, Technology, etc.) that accomplish many things throughout the year for our members.
